Explore and define roles and responsibilities of mental health service providers, including dietitians, in the effective provision of nutrition care to individuals living with mental health conditions in the community. Enhance collaboration and cross-training among service providers, and improve access to nutrition care at the most effective points of intervention.

The examination of the required skill sets and knowledge needed for all health care providers to effectively address nutrition and food issues with mental health clients should be utilized to help shape post-secondary education and on-the-job training for all mental health care providers. — Survey respondent
